WHCSD Seeking 100 Volunteers to Help Scholars with Reading Comprehension

In April 2017, the Warrensville Heights City School District implemented Tiger 100, a volunteer program that seeks to assist scholars in becoming lifelong readers and critical thinkers. The District hopes to place 100 committed volunteers in classrooms who will mentor scholars and help improve literacy skills while inspiring confidence and encouraging success.

Volunteers will be assigned to one school and will read to and with scholars for at least 30 minutes each session, regularly. Volunteers will keep classroom assignments for the entire school year.
