What Are You Doing After High School?

Going to college. . .  Entering the military. . . Joining the workforce.  WHHS seniors announced their future plans at a Career and Commitment Day ceremony on May 4, 2018.

“Everything up until now has been preparation,” WHHS Principal Richard Reynolds told members of the Class of 2018.  “All those dreams and all those plans that you have . . . here’s where it begins. We have some students who are going to be doing some great things in the near future.”

As each scholar’s name was announced, they were invited to sit before a plaque denoting their next destination. When everyone had been seated, they recited the Graduating Scholar’s Pledge:

“We the graduates stand before you now and acknowledge that we are committed to a new life of complete triumph. We pledge to you today that your guidance to bring us this far was not in vain.  We will make a positive difference in our world.  This is our commitment to Warrensville Heights High School, our friends, family, and fellow citizens.”
