SECOND QUARTER TIGER WAY AWARD WINNERS

Jessica Rini, Teacher at Eastwood Elementary School
Nominator: Andrea Bishop, Principal – Eastwood Elementary School

I would like to nominate Jessica Rini for the Tiger Way Award. Mrs. Rini's dedication and commitment to student achievement is to be commended. As the Title 1 Math specialist Mrs. Rini ensures that all students get the most of their instructional day! She takes extra time to load all our Eastwood students into Khan Academy so that students work on their math skills from home and during small group. Mrs. Rini is always thinking "Team" and is willing to step in to fill up a gap whenever the need arises without being asked! She also seeks out best practices for math strategies and shares with our entire team to continue to move our student's skill level higher and higher. Last year, Team Eastwood's math scores soared! This year we have set a high goal for our team and Mrs. Rini is invested in making that happen. Therefore, I nominate Mrs. Jessica Rini for the Tiger Way Award!

I would like to nominate Mr. Daryl our wonderful custodial staff here at the BOE.  He is the epitome of humbleness, hardworking, dedicated, and kindness.  Each day he services the district he serves with a kind heart.  He goes above and beyond to make sure the building and each individual office is neat and tidy, smelling amazing.  He is always pleasant and warm, in addition to his duties at the BOE, he is also a full time cleaner at Westwood Elementary where he is known for demonstrating the Power of Team.  Mr. Franklin, is always willing to give an extra hand to the staff and parents.  He is truly an asset to the Warrensville Heights City School District’s vision of “One Team, One Vision, One Goal.”
