Q: What if I have multiple scholars in different schools? 
A:  The form should be filled out once per scholar.  

Q: What dates is this decision active for? 
A: Pending Board of Education Approval on the latest return to learn plan, this decision will determine your scholar's status from Monday, January 25, 2021 until the end of the school year.  

Q: Can I change my answers on this survey? 
A: To ensure the District can plan for the safe return of scholars to our schools, parents will not be able to make changes to their responses after Monday, January 11, 2021.  

Q: Why should my child return to in-person school? 
A: While this is a personal choice which must be weighed for your family, the District maintains that data and experience both show that in-person education is the most effective education.  

Q: Is it safe for my child to return to in-person school? 
A:  The District has gone above and beyond safety protocols suggested by the state of Ohio, the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, and our healthcare partners like the Cleveland Clinic and Southpointe Hospital. There are extensive measures in place, including: extensive sanitation procedures throughout the day, social distancing in classrooms, mandatory mask policies for everyone in our schools, as well as protective equipment like desk shields and plexiglass dividers to keep our scholars and staff safe. 

Q: Will Virtual Learning still be available? 
A: Yes, Virtual Learning will be available until further notice.      

Q: Will Mobile Meals be available for Virtual Learners still? 
A: Yes, Mobile Meals will remain available for all virtual learners
