WHHS ACE Scholars Receive Honorable Mention for Project Design
WHHS ACE scholarsCongratulations to our WHHS scholars whom participated in the Architecture, Construction, Engineering Mentor Program of America (ACE) during the 2016-2017 academic year and presented their culminating project during ACE's year-end banquet. The scholars received honorable mention for their design submission which showed they cared for the health of the people by creating a new district building plan that included green space and other healthy connections.
Throughout the program, the scholars learned about the construction trades including marketing, budgeting, sustainability, and lighting. They also learned how to collaborate with a purpose and how to speak in front of a crowd.
