Save the date for the Healthy Paws Community Walk/Run on Saturday, April 28. Activities begin at 8 a.m. at South Pointe Hospital (parking lot at 20000 Harvard Road, Warrensville Heights). All participants will receive a free T-shirt and water bottle. The event is open to all residents of Warrensville Heights, Highland Hills, and North Randall. Participation is free but reservations are strongly encouraged.

Registration and pre-walk/run activities begin at 8 a.m. with the walk/run step-off at 9 a.m. sharp! The YMCA will lead participants in warm up excercises. South Pointe hospital staff along with representatives from Ohio University will provide free blood pressure checks, bio-metric screening, and cancer awareness information. OU also will sponsor a flag football game.
Along the 5K walk or run route, the Healthy Paws planning committee has arranged for live music, water stations, and giveaways. A shuttle service will also travel the path for participants needing transportation. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place walk/run participants.
Healthy Paws is Warrensville Heights City School District’s Wellness Program. Established in 2017, Healthy Paws creates a healthy work environment and supports the adoption of healthy habits for employees and the community at large.
