Healthy Paws Sponsors 5K Walk/Run on April 28th
Save the date for the Healthy Paws Community Walk/Run on Saturday, April 28. Activities begin at 8 a.m. at South Pointe Hospital (parking lot at 20000 Harvard Road, Warrensville Heights).  All participants will receive a free T-shirt and water bottle. The event is open to all residents of Warrensville Heights, Highland Hills, and North Randall.  Participation is free but reservations are strongly encouraged.  Click here to register.  
 
Registration and pre-walk/run activities begin at 8 a.m. with the walk/run step-off at 9 a.m. sharp! The YMCA will lead participants in warm up excercises.  South Pointe hospital staff along with representatives from Ohio University will provide free blood pressure checks, bio-metric screening, and cancer awareness information.  OU also will sponsor a flag football game.   
 
Along the 5K walk or run route, the Healthy Paws planning committee has arranged for live music, water stations, and giveaways.  A shuttle service will also travel the path for participants needing transportation.  Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place walk/run participants.
 
Healthy Paws is Warrensville Heights City School District’s Wellness Program.  Established in 2017, Healthy Paws creates a healthy work environment and supports the adoption of healthy habits for employees and the community at large.  Flyer
