Today, marks my final day as Superintendent of Warrensville Heights City School District. I will be resigning effective, August 14, 2014. I want to thank the Board of Education for allowing me the opportunity to help guide the Warrensville Heights City Schools, the staff and our students. It will forever be a special memory to me that I had the opportunity to call Warrensville Heights ‘home.’ And even though now I will only be able to look back at my time in this district as just a mere “season” of my twenty-five years in public education, it was certainly one worth experiencing. Next, I want to thank the parents and Tiger supporters that have devoted their time and energies to helping to execute our game plan for success. The district has a clear mission, vision, goals and core beliefs, and now a community-based advisory committee that was reviewing the progress on these items on a monthly basis. This is the foundation of any organization, I was proud to have helped lay this foundation of organizational direction. A special thanks to my staff at all levels of the district. And, thank you to those many, many partnerships that have been forged during the last few years, from the faith-based, business, college and not-for-profit communities.
