Principal Andrea Bishop is a well-known educator in the Warrensville Heights Community as she has served students at Eastwood Elementary, Westwood Elementary and jointly opened the newly combined Warrensville Elementary School in 2021 covering grades 2nd through 5th and now serving those same students at the High School.
With nearly two decades of experience in education, Principal Bishop is a dedicated and accomplished leader committed to fostering excellence in schools and communities. Principal Bishop earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2005 from Ashland University, followed by a Masters degree in Education from Bowling Green State University in 2008 and in 2014, Principal Bishop achieved her Superintendent License from Cleveland State University, equipping herself to lead schools and districts with vision, passion and purpose.
Throughout her career, Principal Bishop has served as both a classroom teacher and administrator, working in five districts across Northeast Ohio, including the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Over the past nine years, Principal Bishop has brought transformative leadership to Warrensville Heights City Schools.
Most notably, she has guided the high school to earn an impressive 4 out of 5 stars on the state report card within just one school year—a testament to her dedication to academic excellence and student success along with creating strong teams within the high school. Rooted in values of integrity, honesty, courage and community, Principal Bishop believes in creating supportive, inclusive environments where all students and staff can thrive.
