Dear Parents/Guardians:

We are so excited to transport your child to school this coming school year. We would like to have another SAFE YEAR with your help, so we would like to give you some very important information.

Please have your child at his or her assigned bus stop 5 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive (in accordance with Ohio Law 3301-83-08-C1). Your child should be at the bus stop, not getting out of a car or coming out of a house, as this could be very dangerous. If you have a house stop, your child should be waiting at the door prepared to go to school. Drivers cannot blow bus horns or wait for students as this could delay arrival times at schools.

If your child misses the bus, please DO NOT chase the bus or go to another bus stop – instead, please take your child to school. Ohio Law 3301-83-13-B5 stipulates that all students use their assigned bus stop. These laws are designed to protect your child’s safety.

If you have any questions, please contact the Transportation Department at 216.364.1043.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
