COVID Resources

WHCSD is working diligently to ensure our schools are safe with two priorities in mind: Keeping everyone safe with proper mitigation strategies for employees and scholars, and maintaining in-person school for all of our scholars so they can get the resources and interventions they need. Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I have symptoms?
We've created these guides to help parents and staff make decisions about possible COVID symptoms.

What is Warrensville Heights City School District doing?

WHCSD is working diligently to ensure our schools are safe through active infection prevention and control.  Additionally, our district is prepared to respond to any risk of COVID-19 in our schools, should it become necessary.  We are in regular, direct communication with our schools, the Cuyahoga County Department of Health, Ohio Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), for guidance and updates on recommended precautions.  We will continue to keep families and staff informed directly through phone calls and emails.  Now is a good time to update your emergency contact information.
The WHCSD Facilities team uses a rigorous disinfecting protocol to ensure that our schools are clean and safe for students, staff and families. Our custodial team has intensified their disinfecting protocol to include extra attention in common areas and frequently touched or shared surfaces.
