Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK)

Dear Tiger Families,

Warrensville Heights Elementary School, grades 3 -5, has partnered with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) to bring a wonderful summer program to your scholars. It's the Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK). SEEK is a free, three week engineering program that educates 3rd - 5th grade students on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). NSBE is working to increase the participation of minority and women engineers in the Ohio area. Please consider registering for this amazing opportunity for our scholars to learn something new, create projects, and have fun this summer! They will even get a FREE TABLET that they get to keep! Program Dates and Curriculum:

  • July 19 - August 6 (Virtual Program 2)
  • Morning Session: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 
  • Bussing is available! 
  • This year's curriculum will focus on drones, robotics, and coding!

Also, NSBE will provide every student with an Amazon Fire tablet to ensure access to the platform, and curriculum kits with all of  the materials they need will be shipped to WHES. Please make sure you register today! We want as many of our Warrensville Tiger Scholars in the program this summer!
