If you or someone you know needs a Turkey for this upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, this Saturday, November 22nd, the City of Warrensville Heights will be giving away free holiday turkeys to our residents. Please join us at the Warrensville Heights Municipal Center beginning at 11:00 AM. they will have up to 300 frozen turkeys available, and they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. So arrive early to ensure you get yours.
Remember to bring your photo ID showing that you are a Warrensville Heights resident.

To increase consistent attendance we are beginning a challenge and if your scholar gets perfect attendance they are in for some amazing prizes! In the first full month of the school year, father's across the United States join in to participate in the Annual Father's Walk. While it may seem like a small gesture, showing up to walk at your child's school is a positive and irreplaceable experience for our scholars. Each year we have approximately 500 plus fathers, uncles, grandfathers and family members combined that show up to proactively support our scholars and collaborate, and meet with school staff, principals and teachers. According to research, involved and active father's impact child development, educational outcomes and a child's overall physical and mental well-being. We are so grateful for all of the active, and supportive father's and father figures who show up for our scholars. We cannot wait to see this year's outpour of #TigerFatherPride!

Looks like our Warrensville Heights Elementary School scholars, staff, teachers, and principals brought in some major Cleveland Browns Spirit today. We signed our @SITG_Browns pledges in honor of Attendance Awareness, and we will keep bringing our school and Cleveland Browns spirit each week. Happy Friday!!!!
