Curriculum
The Curriculum and Instruction Department is committed to providing a rigorous and comprehensive experience that prepares scholars for success in the 21st century. Our curriculum is anchored around the Ohio Learning Standards and college and career readiness skills.
Data and Intervention
The Data and Intervention team assesses all scholars to understand what level of achievement they are currently at, and identify their appropriate academic growth goals. This data is used to create individualized learning paths for each scholar. Scholars receive weekly one-on-one instruction based on their unique needs, and use tools such as iReady and Accadience to meet benchmarks.
STEAM
Warrensville Heights City School District integrates STEAM science, technology, engineering, arts and math across grades to promote curiosity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration among its approximately 1,900 scholars. The district highlights STEAM as one of its signature academic priorities, using it to help scholars build the skills needed to succeed in a global, technology‑driven economy. Teachers use collaborative projects to build communication and teamwork, aligning with the district mission of producing responsible, contributing members of the community, nation and world.
