Warrensville Heights City School District Joins the United Athletic Conference
High School and Middle School Conference Competition Begins Winter 2026–2027
Warrensville Heights, OH — Warrensville Heights City School District is proud to announce its entry into the newly formed United Athletic Conference (UAC). Conference competition for both high school and middle school athletics will begin in the winter of the 2026–2027 school year.
Warrensville Heights was a member of the Lake Erie Conference from 1994 until its dissolution last year. Following the transition, the district looked to join a conference aligned with its values, long-standing traditions, and expectations for sportsmanship and stability.
Along with its historic partners—Bedford, Garfield Heights, and Maple Heights—Warrensville Heights has joined with South Euclid–Lyndhurst and Youngstown to form the United Athletic Conference.
“The United Athletic Conference represents stability, structure, and tradition,” said Superintendent Donald J. Jolly II. “Including both middle school and high school athletics allows us to build strong programs from the ground up and prepare our scholars to compete with pride, discipline, and sportsmanship.”
Warrensville Heights City School District views athletics as an extension of its educational mission and looks forward to honoring tradition through competition in the United Athletic Conference.
