Welcome to Warrensville Heights Early Childhood Center!

A message from your Principal

On behalf of the Warrensville Heights City School District, I would like to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year at ECC.  My name is Jennifer Ervin, Principal of the Warrensville Heights Early Childhood Center.  I have been an educator for the last 17 years, 15 of those years being in the Warrensville Heights City School District.

Open House will be on Tuesday, September 5th from 6:00-8:00.  During this time you will learn who will be your child’s teacher will be and tour the building/classroom, drop off any school supplies, and complete classroom paperwork.

PreK and Kindergarten students will phase in on Wednesday, September 6th and Thursday, September 7th.  Students with a last name that begins with A-M will attend on Wednesday.  Students with a last name that begins with N-Z will attend on Thursday.  All students will attend on Friday, September 8th.   This allows the students to get to know the staff and building in small groups.  All PreK and Kindergarten students NEED a completed physical within a year and updated immunization records.  All PreK paperwork MUST be completed before student is able to begin.

Attendance matters!  Please be sure your child is in school on time, daily.  PreK students can be dropped off between 8:30 and 8:45 and will eat breakfast in the classroom at 8:45.  Kindergarten students can be dropped off between 8:15 and 8:40; breakfast will be available during this time.  All students need to be present by 8:45 or they will be marked tardy.   Dismissal for all PreK and Kindergarten students is between 3:15 and 3:45.  Early dismissal ends at 2:30.  All students need to be picked up by 3:45.
Dress code is mandatory for all Kindergarten students.  Please see the dress code on the other side.
If your child is riding a school bus, please contact the Transportation Department at 216-364-1041.

Yours in education,

Mrs. Jennifer L. Ervin
