Title IX
The Warrensville Heights City School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its programs and activities. Title IX is a federal civil rights law of the Educational Amendments of 1972. It is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in federally funded education programs and activities.
Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, at 20 U.S.C. 1681(a), states: "No Person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."
