The Office of Exceptional Children in charged with maintaining Special Education and Gifted Services for Warrensville Heights City School District.
Special Education
The Office of Exceptional Children is committed to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities by offering a continuum of services outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA). Warrensville believes that every child can learn when provided with the proper resources. We offer a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to all children ages 3 through 21 with disabilities living within the district’s boundaries. In accordance with Child Find regulations, Warrensville maintains an ongoing effort to identify, locate, and evaluate children with disabilities in the district who are in need of special and/or related services.
