Welcome! The Transportation Department is under Operations and led by the Transportation Supervisor. This department is responsible for the safe transport of scholars for school pick up and drop off and field trips/special events.
We'd like to remind parents and guardians of a few rules that their scholars using bus transportation need to follow in accordance with Ohio Law:
1. Please have your child at his or her assigned bus stop 5 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive (in accordance with Ohio Law 3301-83-08-C1). Your child should be at the bus stop, not getting out of a car or coming out of a house, as this could be very dangerous. If you have a house stop, your child should be waiting at the door prepared to go to school. Drivers cannot blow bus horns or wait for students as this could delay arrival times at schools.
2. If your child misses the bus, please DO NOT chase the bus or go to another bus stop – instead, please take your child to school. Ohio Law 3301-83-13-B5 stipulates that all students use their assigned bus stop. These laws are designed to protect your child’s safety.
