The Office of Exceptional Children provides special education and gifted services for Warrensville Heights City School District.
Special Education
The Office of Exceptional Children is committed to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities by offering a continuum of services outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA). We believe that every child can learn when provided with the proper resources. The District is committed to the provision of free, appropriate, public education (FAPE) for children and youth (ages 3-21) to receive special education and related services under IDEA Part B. We serve children with disabilities identified in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations living within the district’s boundaries under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004.
